About EFECS

EFECS is a European Forum for Electronic Components and Systems with a focus on ‘Our Digital Future’. The organisers of this event - AENEAS, ARTEMIS-IA, EPoSS, ECSEL Joint Undertaking and the European Commission, in association with EUREKA - joined forces to bring all stakeholders along the Electronic Components and Systems value chain in Europe together. The 3rd edition of this international forum takes place on 19-21 November 2019 in Helsinki.

The Electronic Components & Systems (ECS) Community is the key to unlocking the future development of the Digital Economy in Europe.

Without the full Engagement of the ECS Community, it will not be possible to reach the European and Global Sustainability targets that are essential to the future of our Society.

The ECS Community is expanding all the time, as new applications and systems are developed, based on our technology.

We must find a way of Engaging all relevant organisations - Large Enterprises, SMEs, Research Institutes and Academia - to work together, and with public authorities, on the technology challenges that we face as an economy and as a society.

First draft of the updated ECS-SRA

AENEAS, ARTEMIS-IA and EPoSS released the draft version of the ECS-SRA 2019, a joint Electronic Components & Systems (ECS) Strategic Research Agenda (SRA), setting out their vision for digital Europe, the key application areas, the R&D&I challenges and solutions. Participants at EFECS 2018 can share their feedback.
